1. Is boiled tap water
safe to drink? |
| |
Boiling of water has
been a common practice since ancient times as it can
kill microorganism’s bacteria. In olden days, water
has been fetched from underground well and such
boiling process is the best option for safe
drinking. Bacteria are killed but not removed and
the remaining is still residual in water, which are
not desirable and might have adverse effects on
human body.
In modern days, water has been filtered, treated,
disinfected with chlorine at water plants before
delivering through galvanized pipes to every
household. The prolonged usage of these pipes leads
to the formation of rust due to corrosion, where
such inorganic particles peels off and is delivered
in our tap water. Water storage tank is also widely
used and the infrequent cleaning and disinfection
induces a new source of pollution. Boiling of water
does not remove these pollutants.
The oxygen in the tap water is higher than the
boiled water, which is great for our body. Boiling
causes the oxygen content to drop drastically.
Boiled water is also known as lifeless water, and
interestingly, it is never used for breeding of fish
or watering of plants. |

2. I have been
drinking water for decades and I don’t face any
problem? |
|
|
|
Think about
it: Is the deterioration of water quality sudden? Does
smoking cause cancer straight away? Human body itself is a
very sophisticated filtering system, as it is capable of
filtrating the water extracted from food and the water we
drank that contains impurities, into clean water. Our
filtering organ primarily consists of gastrointestinal
mucosa, blood vessel wall, liver, kidney, capillary, and
various mucosal cell walls etc.
Illnesses are occurring so commonly nowadays and we really
should not tax our organs to handle the extra task which
might be a burden to our body. |

not, alkaline or ionized water that claim to be healthier
are just a marketing gimmick.

4. Isn’t pure or
distilled water better? |
|
|
No, pure or distilled water
does not contain the essential minerals required by our
body. It is not only without benefit but is also harmful
to our body. The “emptiness” in water will leach away the
minerals from our body.

5. What
are the advantages of having twin filter instead of single
filter? |
|
|
|
Description |
Single Unit |
Twin Unit |
|
Flow rate |
Limited. |
Abundance. |
|
Any interruption of
filter water supply? |
Yes, during flushing |
Never. |
|
Filtered water
contamination? |
Yes, after back wash
process. |
Never. |
|
Require pre-filter? |
Yes, to take away
large sand sediments. But infrequent cleaning of
pre-filter will affect flow rate. |
No. Municipal water
entry point and flushing out exit point is the same
and thus all sediments can be flushed out easily. |
